I teach weekly, online private lessons, as well as group studio recitals.

Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, AR 

Adjunct Music Faculty, 2019-present. I teach applied flute and flute ensemble. 

Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, AR 

Assistant Professor of Music - 2012-2018. Instructor of Music - 2005-2012. Visiting Instructor of Music - 2002-2005.

Served as academic advisor, and taught applied flute, chamber ensembles, music theory, and music appreciation. 

East Central University, Ada, OK 

Adjunct Music Faculty, 1994-2002. Taught applied flute, woodwind ensembles, and music theory. 

Performance: 

I’ve presented many solo recitals, and participated in chamber performances regionally, and at national music conferences. I’ve also served as guest artist for music clinics, and had performances aired on KLRE, classical music radio. I’m currently serving as a freelance flutist in Arkansas. 

I’m a regular performer with The Muses Project, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Current professional chamber music ensembles: The Trescendo Trio; Flute, Saxophone, and Piano. South Winds; variable instrumentation, professional musicians living in Arkansas. The Mockingbird Quartet; flute quartet.

Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Charles Evans. Section Flute 2007-2015. Substitute Flute, 2006-2007.

North Texas Wind Symphony, under the direction of Eugene Corporon. Co-Principal, Flute Section, 2000-2002. Recorded for Klavier Records and GIA Publications Resource Recordings.

Conducting:

I’ve conducted university flute choirs, and large flute ensembles at regional seminars and festivals. I also conducted the Hot Springs Flute Ensemble from 2008-2014, and continue to serve as guest conductor. In 2025 I conducted the Arkansas Flute Society in performance at the National Flute Association convention in Atlanta, Georgia. I also arranged two pieces by Florence Price for this performance.
